General Preferences

Overall playstyle I generally play Komaeda either from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Chapter 5) or from the end of Danganronpa 3: Hope Arc. Because of this, his knowledge of the events within the series can vary, but realistically I can play him from any canon point, these are just my preferred spots. I take his characterization from the games, anime, and the manga; I can adjust my plays for AUs, PSLs, and what-if timelines. I also play Komaeda with a heavy emphasis on real portayal of his mental health, even though Kodaka kind of overlooks this in the games.

In-game Slowburn, slowburn, slowburn. Friends to lovers. Enemies to friends to lovers. Unrequited love and pseudo-unrequited love are big themes for Komaeda. He is less likely to look at people romantically in games, and I am much less likely to pursue this since my focus is usually on character growth.

PSLs While I enjoy slowburn to some degree, just because that's the nature of his character, I am less committed to the idea of it since there wouldn't be much more happening. While I have never done any PSLs for Komaeda, there are a few I am interested in! Namely, life on Jabberwock island after everyone exited the simulation.

Favorite ship dynamics Mutual growth. The protector and protectee. Codependence and miscommunication. Survivors of trauma opening up to each other, and learning to trust again. Seemingly unrequited pinning. Found families and, of course, hurt/comfort.

Misc I will not write under-age characters, or anything that is non-consensual. I also prefer to write with others who are 18+, for my own comfort.
