[The frisbee flings past his head, and as it does, it certainly catches his attention too. It draws his gaze in it's arching path, until finally, it lands inside of the head of one unaware slime-girl.

He gasps at the sight, running over to where she's sat herself and looking her over.]

Are you alright?

[A redundant question, when he looks at where the frisbee has lodged itself in the side of her head. He stares for a good moment before continuing.]

Would you like some help...?

[Things rarely hurt these days, and the frisbee is no different, even if the surprise and the pressure of it throws her off. Once she registers the fact that the person coming her way is actually coming to check on her, it throws her off even more. She mimics his staring, then carefully brings a hand up to nudge the frisbee.]

Oh. It went in pretty deep.

[She doesn't sound bothered by it -- fascinated, maybe. Though...it's a good thing she rarely has her nucleus outside her shell when she's awake, because when she leaves it to its own devices, it hangs out right around where she'd been hit. Even like this, her vision is a little messed up on one side.]

Is it yours? You don't have to worry about me... Slimes are durable.

[Taking in the damage, and her demeanor, she doesn't seem too bothered by the way three-quarters of a hard plastic disk has lodged into her head. Even her tone—monotonous in a way that makes him more relieved than concerned—assures him that she's not going to die. Perhaps it's odd then, that his first thought thereafter is to grab hold of the lip of frisbee that sticks out of her head, and give it a firm yank to try and unstick it.]

It's not mine, no, [he responds with his purpled tongue pinching at the corner of his mouth as he tries to wrench it free. Even as a monster, he's pretty weak, and she's right when she says it's deep.] I think it was some humans who ran when they saw it get stuck in your head... you're so small, I can't believe they were afraid of helping you...

[Komaeda huffs, taking his hands off of the frisbee. He's pulled it out a bit, but it's still difficult.]

Can you help me out? Um... like, eject it or something?

[Now that's a weird feeling. Still not quite...painful, but still like part of her head is being shoveled away. She hums, functional eye sliding its gaze past her fellow monster as if she has a chance of catching sight of the actual offenders.]

Yeah. Even though I'm a monster, I'm not scary at all.

[Though this isn't the only instance of her scaring someone during this bingo thing... It's actually a square, but one she's marked off already. Besides, it wasn't really like she'd done anything to do any scaring. Just exist. The glassy pupil focuses on Komaeda again, unimpressed.]

I'm not a DVD player... [But hmm, she can move items through her body already, helping this along shouldn't be hard at all. To make it even easier,] You shouldn't pull it. The edge is curved, like a scoop. Pulling it means more resistance.

[Unscoop her non-brain brain.]

Oh—

[He stops tugging, his own wide-eyed gaze dropping down to meet her empty stare, and for a moment, he's reminded of Mukuro.]

I guess you're right, maybe I can wedge it?

[Komaeda is more so thinking aloud, trying to find a solution to the problem and having a myriad of potentials run through his mind in an instant. Despite his air-headed attitude, he drops down to his haunches to get a better view, and starts jiggling the frisbee around in her not-brain brain to find the best route possible to their solution.]

So what are you doing, sitting here alone? [It's just small talk while he finds a good angle to start making some good progress on pulling the disk out,] are you taking care of your bingo card?

[It's strange to have someone -- a stranger, even -- so close, but moving around too much wouldn't help either of them with this frisbee situation. Doesn't seem like it should be long, now. His question gets a silent beat at she wonders, too, but he jogs her memory just as easily. Right, the bingo card. It was probably that.]

So you must have one, too. There's nothing on there about spending time in the sun, so... I must have been taking a break. Or trying to decide... It looks like the lines I'm closest to finishing have squares that aren't possible for me.

You mean you forgot what you were doing here...?

[Komaeda pulls his hand off of the frisbee immediately, palms out as he stares down at her with a creeping worry coloring his entire expression.]

Ah... don't tell me this thing is lodged in your brain...

[He's had enough dealings with memory loss to know that he doesn't want to cause it.]

[She'd like to say this is a stupid reaction to have, but no... It's probably the right reaction. Still, her more functional eye rolls.]

No. I don't really have organs. [So no brain, or at least not the kind he would expect or that she's willing to show off. She's vaguely see-through so he should have been able to tell that much...] It happens when I'm a slime. Things or people that aren't that important are hard to remember for long. I couldn't tell you if it's normal or not, since there are other things that make me different from the slimes I've heard about.

Is that so... I've never met a slime before... so this is a first for me.

[Well, with that cleared up, Komaeda at least feels better about wiggling the frisbee out of her head. It takes a bit of effort, but with a sound that's almost like a slow, thick pop—it pulls free.]

So what's it like not having organs? I guess you don't have to worry about all the normal body functions that other people have, huh?

I hear that a lot. Oh -- [pop!

That's a weird feeling, and she brings her hand up to cover the chunk of slime that's been peeled out of place and now slowly begins to seal itself back up. She'd linger more on that if she were allowed, but -- ]

Ew. [Why are you talking to a younger girl about body functions????] But yes... That's about how it is. Do you always ask strangers that sort of thing?

Wouldn't you be curious if you suddenly met something you haven't before? I mean, at some point we were all human, but now we're all different.

[The short of it is that Komaeda doesn't think it's a weird question.

Instead, he sort of drops down onto his haunches so that he's sat in front of, rather than towering over, her. His hands come up to cup either side of his face, with the left one being distinctly more of a shiny black metal than the other.]

So how do slimes eat? Since you don't have organs... do you feed on energy, too?
